Before you can start your first rental with Grover Business, we need to verify that you are authorized to enter into rental contracts in the name and on behalf of your own company or your employer. We do this by facilitating an identity verification, which allows us to verify that you are a legal representative (CEO, board member, or a freelancer) of the company or an employee authorized by your company that you are registering for. This is to protect against fraud and is required of all new business registrations.

Your documents are processed by our partner Onfido Limited (3 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PA, United Kingdom). Neither Grover, nor Onfido will ever, under any circumstances, use your data for any purpose other than validating your account. Onfido is GDPR compliant and you can find more information on how we treat and process your data in our privacy policy.

Grover Business registration process

Get started with Grover Business in 4 simple steps.

Step 1: Register your company on https://www.grover.com/business by entering your e-mail address, your name, your birthday, your company's VAT-ID, and address to create your business account. 

Step 2: As a legal representative of the company, you can immediately complete the identity verification during the registration process. If you are an employee, you can send the verification link directly to your company’s legal representative's email address. This process should take no more than five minutes.

Step 3: Once Onfido has verified the identity of the company’s legal representative, he/she can authorize the employee to enter into rental contracts by simply checking a box as the final step. As soon as we have your details, we begin the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, which takes approximately 1-2 business days. During this time, you can already place orders, but they will only be processed once your account has been validated.

Step 4: Once your Grover Business account has been activated, you can head over to https://www.grover.com/business and start renting tech from us, or from our partners in the name and on behalf of your company.
